Day 2: Clairvoyance

by | Nov 10, 2012

We stood out on the beach shoulder to shoulder and looked out at the ocean.

“That which I desire is within me.”

We gave thanks to the ocean and released all our desires out beyond the shoreline.

Today’s centering meditation by Deepak Chopra involves tapping into our goals and desires. Chopra states that our desires are within ourselves, we just need to bring them into existence.

When I think about reaching my desires, I think about the warrior poses in yoga. In order to reach our goals, we must be strong and fearless like a warrior.

No one has taught me more about being a warrior than my husband and my parents.

My parents always led me to believe I could be anyone and anything I wanted I be in this life, if I only put my mind to it.

My husband always taught me that sometimes to reach liberation you might need to battle.
Even if the battle is in your mind.

We are stronger than we believe we are.

When I’m standing in yoga warrior pose I feel on top of the world. I feel everything in my body and my mind. My breath is calm and collected.

I look out over my fingertips and stare into the unknown. I look fear in the face. I am one with my desires, and they are one with me.

“That which I desire is within me.”

And so the exploration continues.
