I’m going to tell you something and it might sound harsh. But you want the truth, don’t you?
Stop making excuses.
You know what I mean.
We all make excuses: Excuses for our behavior. Excuses for our stagnation. Excuses for our addictions. Excuses for our unhealthy eating habits. Excuses for our failures.
But real growth comes from within. And the only way to change is to face our fears head on. Dig deep and find the root of our unhappiness.
What is unhappiness?
Unhappiness is hard to define. It creeps up on you like a whisper in the night. It changes your mood. It drags you down. It beats down your self worth. And before you know it, unhappiness has a place in your bed. Lying there with you as if it owns the place.
Unhappiness is contagious.
Once you let it in, let it lay down with you, it’s going to stay a while, whether you like it or not.
But there is hope!
I believe unhappiness and depression come when we give up on ourselves. We just accept that this is life and this is how it is meant to be.
But it’s not the way it has to be!
Stop making excuses for this unwelcomed guest. Stop wallowing in the unhappy and start making the real changes you need to live the life you were born to live. The one filled with happiness.
I believe we are all on this earth for a very specific purpose.
You are important. You are necessary. You are divine.
Your excuses are your chains. They wrap you up and hold you down. They keep you from soaring and becoming the person you were always meant to be.
Stop making excuses. You know the ones I’m talking about.
It’s time to take back control.

You want something so bad you dream about it everyday? Do it!
