Say it along with me. “I am exactly where I need to be.”
Sometimes I find Mondays to be my hardest day. Why? Because I always wake up and immediately start worrying about all the things I have to do this week. I work myself up to the point where I end up doing nothing because I’m so focused on all the other things I have to do.
Mindfulness teaches us to live in the present moment. So right now I am sitting here and breathing, watching the rain fall and drinking my tea and focusing only on the present moment. Repeating my mantra “I am exactly where I need to be.”
And the week will flow as it will.
